CU Amiga seeks Staff Writer

After 2 and a half years of service with CU Amiga Magazine, Technical Editor Mat Bettinson is departing for fresh pastures. You can read the FAQ on Mat's home page. The remaining staff are taking over his responsibilities and we're looking to hire a Staff Writer to fill in the gaps. The advertisement for the position follows.

CU Amiga Magazine, the world's best Amiga Magazine, is looking to recruit a Staff Writer. The key responsibilities will involve writing well-informed and authoratative copy designed to inform and excite Amiga enthusiasts worldwide. This position is based at CU Amiga's London offices with hours of 9:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

The successful applicant will need to be an Amiga god, greatly familiar with the platform on a technical footing. Addition specific interests and expertise in software genres such as 3D rendering, DTP, programming and business packages would be required (though not necessarily those specific genres). Knowledge of the major players in the Amiga scene both in hardware and software is essential.

Experience in journalism is not essential but is highly prized. Certainly potential candidates should be fluent with English structure and grammar and be able to maintain a clear easy to understand train of thought. Other skills that would be highly prized include the ability to compile cover disks.

If you fancy turning your hobby into a career then send your CV and a 500 word review of your favourite piece of Amiga equipment to the Editor:
