Paul Hanson created this image by superimposing a scanned photograph onto a Lightwave render. He used ImageFX to do the superimposition and used the radial star effect to produce the glow on the leg. The edges of the figure suffer from JPEG artifacts, but it isn't clear whether this is a problem with the original scan or something introduced when Paul jpegged the pic to send in.
